Kathmandu, 6th June – In a remarkable display of poetic prowess, 16 acclaimed poets gathered on Saturday at THAA Library in New-Baneshwor, Kathmandu to recite poems with the presence of Dr.Bhawani Shankar Nil , an acclaimed poet as chief guest of the program for building bilateral relationship via cultural signification, multi-lingual literary event witnessed the coming together of renowned and rising poetic talents from Nepal and India.

The esteemed Nepali poet Bishwa Sigdel, Tirtha Bhatta, Suzan Adhikari, Suniti Karki, Smiriti Gurung, Khusub Rijial, Bhuwan Thapaliya, Subash Singh Parajuli, Rajini Das, Tulas Ghaire, Tirtha Kamal, Shiva Shaua, Binaya Das and other poets recited the poem. The event also featured two promising young poets, Jamauna Neupane and Kirti shau, who captivated the audience with their fresh perspectives.

Adding to the global representation, the program welcomed the esteemed Indian poet Dr. Bhawani Shankar Nil from Odisa, India as well as other 16 poets seamlessly wove their poetic tapestries in English, Nepali, and Hindi, each offering a unique interpretation of the cultural essence and significance to make independent identity of each country.

The event, organized by Writers Corner Nepal, provided a vibrant platform for these poets to express poesy in cultural diversity that threads to unite through their powerful verses. Amidst the recitations, the audience was treated to an enthralling account of Dr. Bhawani Shankar Nil’s personal experience of his visit to Kathmandu and his cultural prospects equally enriched the artistic experience within the poets.

This literary gathering not only celebrated the enduring beauty and significance of the cultural revolution and literary revivation to make strong bilateral relationships between two countries.
