
Kathmandu – Applications have been invited for the National Inclusive Music Award (NIM Award) – 2026, Nepal’s first inclusive music award, organized annually under the presentation of Power International Media Nepal (PIM Nepal).
This will be the ninth edition of the National Inclusive Music Award (NIM Award). The grand finale ceremony of the award, which has been organized in a dignified, grand, and culturally respectful manner every year, is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu in the third week of Baisakh 2083 (Nepali calendar), according to Kamala Joshi, Program Coordinator and General Secretary of PIM Nepal.
The NIM Award has consistently featured participation from artists across different regions of the country. It places special priority on songs and music created in the diverse languages spoken in Nepal. Due to the enthusiastic participation of songs in many different languages, the award is widely regarded as Nepal’s first truly inclusive music award.
The award program includes songs representing various languages and musical traditions of Nepal, such as Kanthe Bhaka, Deuda Bhaka, Nepal Bhasa, Tamang, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Rai, Limbu, Tharu (Chaudhary), Sherpa, Magar, Gurung, Satar, Sunuwar, and many others. The organizing committee has announced that songs and music videos in these languages and traditions will also be included in this year’s edition.
According to the Gregorian calendar, songs and music videos released between January 1, 2025 and December 30, 2025 (within one year) will be eligible to participate in the award.
The NIM Award will be managed by Era Production Pvt. Ltd. Application forms for song registration will be available at the organizing office, and participants can also fill out the form online through Aventoz Digital.

The organizing committee has announced that the deadline for song registration applications will be until the second week of Chaitra (Nepali calendar).
