Tv program Presenter & Director Ojha was honored for his Indeed with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Mumbai, Tv program Presenter & Director Saroj Ojha has been honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2023 in Mumbai. The award was presented to him in the award ceremony organized by Filmora Media on June 11th at Hotel Hyatt Centric located in Juhu, Mumbai, India. Along with Ojha, singer Vinod Dhakal, artist Neetu Koirala, artist and actor Rajendra Prasad Ojha, beautician Sushila Thapa, campaigner Krishna Prasad Devkota and event director Amit Shah also won the Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2023, from Nepal under the foreign category.

Ojha informed that on this occasion  Akhilesh Singh, the head of the organizing organization Filmora, was given a token of love adorned with flags of Nepal and India from the Nepali side. Ojha informed that Singh has stated about the discussion on the possibility of organizing the next edition of the Dadasaheb Phalke Television Awards in Nepal. Journalist Ojha responded that it was a glorious moment to be honored in India through such a prestigious Award.

Brief Introduction of Saroj Ojha

Saroj Ojha is a multitalented personality. Born in Vyas 5 Sange of Tanahun, Ojha spent his childhood in Damauli (Chapaghat). He studied in Shree Ashanti Varsha English Boarding School from nursery till class 10 except class 2. He did his 2nd-grade studies in Kathmandu. He used to study at Holy Land International located in Soltimod. Having completed his studies of 10 plus 2 from Damauli College, he also studied for some time at Adi Kavi Bhanu Bhakta Multiple Campus. His current permanent residence is in Lalitpur. He has been continuously associated with the production of television programs in collaboration with Nepal Television for the past decade and a half. Ojha is the presenter, editor, and director of the program Sachetana. Ojha till now apart from awareness Bal Awaz, business info, Namaste Nepal, Pravasi ko Sandesh, Adarsh Parivar, the first cooking reality show in Nepal,-College Chef Icon, and the comedy television series Kura Matra vo, have made a special contribution to the communication world by being involved in the production and broadcasting.

Ojha is also a successful documentary maker. So far, he has participated in Health Retention, World Health Organization (2021, ) Gaddhi Baithak Punarniman, US Ambassador Fund (2075, Lumbini IBD) 074, Annapurna Odyssey, Nepal Tourism Board (2071), Tourism Potential of Kirtipur, Kartipur Municipality (2073), Subsidy Market, Salt Trading 2068, Green Flag Campaign Latipur metropolitan city 2074, Dry Port in Nepal NITDB, Govt of Nepal (2067), 10th SAARC Trade Fair, TEPC, Govt of Nepal (2068,) Child-friendly Local Govt., CCWB, Govt of Nepal (2069, ) Water for All, Fund Board. In addition, he has been working as a press consultant and communication expert for various companies and organizations. Similarly, he played the coordinating role of live broadcasting of the Asia Pacific Summit held in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2019 through 14 satellite televisions in Nepal.

Also, Ojha has worked as the editor of Corporate Khabar Patrika and its online version Corporate Khabar.com. Apart from this, Ojha has also worked as the editor of the bulletin published by Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality and the book-winning Psychology in Sports. He was also the general secretary of Everest Press Club, an associate organization of the Nepal Journalist Federation, and was elected to the working committee of Nepal Journalist Federation, Associate Province Committee. Chairman and Managing Director of Glory Media Ojha is also the Chairman of Rajya Media Network. Having a good grasp of both Nepali and English languages, he has also been working as a Nepali and English translator. He has also translated a number of technical reference materials related to budget, monetary policy, and public finance. He has the ability to write in-depth on any field including finance, commerce, social, political, diplomatic, administrative, tourism, agriculture, health, children, etc.

In his free time, he writes articles on economic and social issues. He is also interested in literature. Ojha deliberately can write in both Nepali and English. In addition, Saroj Ojha, who has been continuously involved in the production of programs for 16 years, was honored by Nepal Television on the occasion of its 36th anniversary. In 2021, the United Nations Peacekeepers Federal Council, headquartered in Thailand, awarded Ojha the UNPKFC Humanitarian Award. The World Human Rights Council, headquartered in India, has conferred him an honorary Bharat Gaurav Ratna award in 2023. Also, he received TAAN Tourism Journalism Award under the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) in 2022 and special honor from the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce in the same year.

Also, he was honored with MSN Excellence Award in Alexandria, Egypt in 2019. He has also acted as a judge in many competitive shows including Virat Film Award organized by Adhirajya Media, Designer Runway, Plus Size Model, and so on. organized by Model Songs Nepal.
