Kathmandu | Nepal Chamber of Commerce has successfully concluded a corporate golf tournament to mark its historic Diamond Jubilee. The tournament was held at the Royal Nepal Golf Club in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, with participation from private sector industrialists and business leaders.
The winners of the tournament were honored with certificates by Chairman of the Diamond Jubilee Main Celebration Committee and former President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, President Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Immediate Past President Rajendra Malla and Senior Vice President Deepak Malhotra. A total of 15 participants received awards.
Speaking on the occasion, Chamber Vice President and Golf Tournament Coordinator Arjun Sharma said the Chamber’s 75-year journey has been historic and inspiring. He noted that for more than seven decades, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce has played a vital role in the development of trade, industry, entrepreneurship, and the private sector.
Sharma added that the corporate golf tournament was organized to promote sports tourism in Nepal and that the Diamond Jubilee event reflected the Chamber’s values of social responsibility, discipline, integrity, focus, and long-term vision.
The Chamber is celebrating its 75th anniversary and historic Diamond Jubilee this year with various programs organized in a grand manner.
