Kathmandu : Madhab Raj Kharel, director of the first silent movie of Nepal “Dhunge Yug” (Stone Era) is very busy in Nepali movie industry these days. Mr. Kharel of polite behavior and personify, has introduced and established himself as the director directing movie of different genre with greater taste. Apart from “Dhunge Yug” (Stone Era) Mr. Madhab Raj Kharel has directed other critically and commercially successful movies like”Birano Maya, “Kuineto”, “Durgamandu”, “Gadhimai” and Maithili language movie “Hewe Karaite Bhor” and besides this he is now preparing his new project “Hung Yug 2” (Human Civilzation) to hit theatre very soon being completed post production work.
Mr. Kharel who has directed dozens of music video has also directed documentary in the same number. Mr. Kharel, who used to get actively busy in social works organized by different social organization, is also actively and honestly handling workload of inry member in different Beauty Pageant, dance competition acting competition, different musical and movie related award shows, etc. Mr. Kharel, who has recently won international award of Best Director from the movie “Durgamandu” in Nepal Cultural International Film Festival, has been awarded with dozens of best movie director award and honored and appreciated with appraisal letters from different organization like Sundaradevi Sandesh Weekly, Music Khabar, Music dot Com, Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Chhayachhabi Creation, Box Office Group, ICT Journalist Development Forum, Lyricist Association Nepal, Karuna Nepal, Cultural Campaign for Equality, Jana Aakash Media, Happy Home, Pageant Nepal, Namaste AIl International Group, Paul Entertainment, Into the Himalayan, etc. Mr. Kharel, who has tasted ups and downs and success and failure of Nepali movie and faced it calmly and since almost two decades, has decided this sector as his life.
He says ‘I have invested and devoted a huge time spam of my life in this Nepali Movie Industry, thus, this is my assets and this is my life; I just can’t be kept from or stay apart from movie field till last breath of my life.
